A beautiful gutta percha brooch featuring lovely fuchsia flowers, circa mid-19th century, 1850s-1860s.
A wreath of grape vines encircles the brooch.
Two holes are drilled in the brooch, which may have been to attach a bale to wear as a necklace, or another clasp, but I'm uncertain.
